High-performance clean

Built for the stains that ruin good clothes.

A triple-enzyme formula of protease, amylase and lipase works at the molecular level to break down protein, starch and oil, in cold water, so nothing clings to the fibres.

Scent Wash detergent pod

  • Protease

    Coffee stains are tannins bound to milk protein. Protease cuts the protein that holds them to the fibre, so the colour lifts instead of setting.

  • Protease + amylase

    Grass is chlorophyll, protein and plant starch pressed into the weave. Two enzymes break both halves apart at 20 °C.

  • Lipase

    Foundation and balm are oil suspensions. Lipase splits the fats into pieces the surfactants can carry away without hot water.

  • Lipase + amylase

    Sauce is oil plus starch. Lipase takes the grease, amylase takes the starch, and nothing is left to go rancid and yellow later.

  • Full formula

    Wine pigment needs surfactant lift rather than bleach. The concentrated formula releases it while the enzymes clear the sugars around it.

Tested on cotton and poly-cotton at 20 °C, standard cycle.

Questions, answered

How many pods do I use per load?

One pod for a regular load (up to 6 lb of laundry). Use two for large loads, heavily soiled items or extra-large capacity machines. Always place the pod in the drum first, then add clothes.

Does it work in cold water?

Yes. The pod dissolves fully in cold water and the enzymes are formulated to work without heat. Cold water also helps the fragrance last longer on fabric.

Will the fragrance be overpowering?

No. The scent is composed like a fine fragrance, with top, heart and base notes that settle into the fibres rather than sit on top of them. Most customers describe it as noticeable up close and never loud. It lasts up to two weeks on stored clothes.

How does the subscription work?

Pick your fragrance, box size and delivery cadence (every 1, 2 or 3 months). You save 15% on every delivery. You can swap fragrances, skip a delivery, pause or cancel from your account at any time.

Is it safe for sensitive skin and HE machines?

Our formula is free of dyes, parabens, phosphates and phthalates and is HE compatible and septic safe. Fragrance ingredients can be allergens for some people; the full ingredient disclosure for every scent is on our product specifications page.

Where do you ship?

We ship across the United States. Orders over $60 ship free; everything else ships at a flat rate shown at checkout. Orders leave our warehouse within 1 to 2 business days.
